Revealing the way.


Hey folks! A bit of bummer health news; I've gradually been developing some pain in my drawing thumb. I keep a buffer of pages for times when I can't draw for one reason or another, and my usual tactics are "once things are better, I just work extra hard to bring my buffer back up" or "I'll hire some artists to assist me until I'm back on track".

I can draw a bit, but I'm not 100% up to my previous speed, and most of my Patreon funds have had to go toward covering my lost convention income over the pandemic. So rather than risk further injury to my hands or bank account, I'm going to see if a lighter schedule makes a difference. Because of this, I'm going to be switching to a Tuesday-only update schedule for a bit, then we'll revisit where I stand.

While it's my hope between slowing down and finding some different ways to draw that don't agitate it, things will get better, but I'll see what the thumb says. It's always a bit scary when an artist has to think about hand injury, so thank you all so much for your patience and understanding as I navigate things!
